Thank You!

I've been chasing red herrings for days - like Googling for "zend server ce myphpadmin mysql default username password". After trying to connect with PHP & googling for "Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 61", I came upon your other post http://www.worldgoneweb.com/2011/zend-server-community-edition-for-mac-os-x-–-mysql-permissions/, which brought me here.

FYI. I had similar connection issues with Zend Server CE on my WinXP. The problem there was starting Zend Server CE did not start the MySQL service. So silly questions like "Is MySQL running" aren't so silly after all :-)

Thank You (squared)!

Thank you SO MUCH for this simple, concise, CORRECT advice. This was by far the best guide for setting up the NAS on my newly hatched dd-wrt router (formerly a lowly netgear wndr3400) that i have come across.

They changed something in the URL. Only small pictures can be downloaded. However, if you change the /s288/ in the URL to /s0/ then u get the original sized picture, but u can not do this automatically in DownThem All extension, or at least I do not know of a way of doing it. If someone does, it would be much apprecieted. Thx.

It worked out of the box for me just like it did for RB3. BUT, if it is detected as a microphone for you, are you sure you placed the switch on the D position ?
Also, once connected to a game other than Rock Band 3, less items on your kit are recognized, ultimately, it's a lesser experience than the DIY experience I described here : http://www.worldgoneweb.com/2010/yamaha-dtxplorer-kit-with-rock-band-or-guitar-hero-on-xbox-360/

This is a great article - thanks for posting. I have a similar setup using the MIDI Pro Adapter and Roland V-Drums, and it works perfectly connecting directly to RB3. But I cannot get it to work with GH-Metallica. The GH game thinks the MIDI Pro Adapter is a regular game controller, so it assumes I am going to use a microphone. I can't get GH to recognize that the MIDI Pro Adapter is connected to a drum kit. At the end of the article you wrote:

"Can I use the Mad Catz Midi Adapter with Guitar Hero : World Tour / Metallica ?
Short answer : yes but it’s not as good.
Long answer soon to be published."

If you have found a way to get this adapter to work with the GH games, please give us some advice. Thanks!!!
